had that line from 'The Bloody Chamber' by Angela Carter stuck in my head when i drew this

i was just trying to imagine what kind of lovers they would be if they could ever exist, and this is what i came up with

i've been studying the gothic in english lit class and was kind of intrigued by the weird victorian obsession with death...this woman may be a little too obsessed me thinks :/
